ORDINANCE AND RESOLUTIONS

12. RESOLUTION NO. 24-61- APPROVING A PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND CITY OF NORWALK FOR REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 13200 BLOOMFIELD AVENUE (APN NO. 8045-008-902) Staff recommends City Council: adopt Resolution No. 24-61 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORWALK approving the PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT by and between the State of California and City of Norwalk; and authorize the City Manager to make any non-substantive minor modifications and execute the Purchase and Sale Agreement on behalf of the City, in a form approved by the City Attorney.

EMPLOYEE MENTAL HEALTH BREAK – CLOSURE OF SOME CITY OPERATIONS FROM DECEMBER 23 TO DECEMBER 27, 2024 Staff recommends City Council approve: the allocation of 35 hours of Mental Health Break to full-time employees and 12 hours of Mental Health Break to part-time employees; and the closure of City Hall and other City facilities from December 23 to December 27, 2024, with the exception of some essential City services in the Public Safety, Public Services, Transportation, Recreation, and Social Services Departments.

14. JANUARY 2025 MEETING SCHEDULE Staff recommends City Council authorize: canceling the January 7, 2025 meeting and holding one regularly scheduled meeting on January 21, 2025; orcontinue to hold two meetings in January on the 7 and 21, 2025.

15. 605 ALL STAR BAND PARADE REHEARSAL – REQUEST TO CLOSE STREETS Staff seeks City Council direction.
